A German pilot with the rank of Feldwebel (staff sergeant) holding a “Honor Goblet of the Luftwaffe”. The Luftwaffe “Honor Goblet” ranked between the Iron Cross of the First Class and the Knight’s Cross/German Golden Cross. It was awarded only to combat pilots for exceptional achievements in combat.
